Forgotten Songs

Vladimir Nikolouzos was born in Greece in 1979. He is a poet, theatre director and an independent filmmaker. He has published two poetry collections Blossoms inside the iron Night (2015), AURORA(2017). In 2014 he was awarded with a special mention FIPRESCI prize in Thessaloniki international film festival, for his first feature movie POLK. The same year he was also nominated for the best debut independent Director, in the Academy of cinematography of Greece. In the Theatre he has collaborated as a dramatist and Director with the National theatre of Greece and the Athens Festival, as well as with independent theatres in Athens and in New York City. The Land of Forgotten Songs (2024) which premiered in the Thessaloniki documentary international festival is his second feature and the first of a series of documentaries that he plans to do around the world.
