Credentials: BA in Drama Audiovisual Arts at Universidad del Desarrollo (Chile). Currently studying a MA in Visual Anthropology, Media and Documentary Practices at the University of Münster (Germany).
Brief Bio:
Ignacio Rodríguez (Antofagasta, 1989) graduated in film and dramatic arts. His film school thesis and first feature La Chupilca del Diablo had its world premiere in 2013 at Cinélatino Rencontres Cinémas d'Amérique Latine de Toulouse, France, receiving the FIPRESCI Award. In 2015 he co-directed with Sara Rastegar the short film El Llano de la Paciencia as part of “Chile Factory”, world premiered at the Director’s Fortnight, Cannes.
He is currently based in Berlin and developing his second feature film and making music with his band 69 Deluxe.
