Brief Bio: A strategically minded and people-oriented video creator trained in many aspects of film and media production, over the last 15 years. I am equipped with the skills to shoot, direct, edit & distribute video content on a majority of platforms. I have experience working and collaborating with individuals, non profit organizations and brands in East Africa, South Africa and the USA.

I find joy in dancing, strolling through nature, connecting with individuals from diverse cultures and embarking on adventures to explore new destinations and experiences.

Project Abstract:

The Farmer’s Plight: In the cycle of farming, a farmer sows his seeds in due season, reaps during harvest time and then makes his yield available to a middleman who, in turn, transports and inflates the price at the target market. Despite the farmer’s efforts, he reaps the least rewards while the middle man gains the lion’s share for minimal input. The farmer’s selling prices remain stagnant to favour the middle man’s profit margins, leaving the farmer’s voice unheard. This short documentary brings out the plight of the farmers and seeks to discover ways in which farmers can be heard and benefit from their hard work. A young changemaker endeavours to change this reality for farmers by launching an app that empowers farmers to directly supply their produce thereby challenging the status quo.
