The 4th edition of EthnoKino took place in Bern at Quinnie Cinemas, located at the heart of the city center, and Cinematte by the magical Aare river. Both venues are centered at the UNESCO Heritage Site of Bern, a medieval European city.
The opening was marked with a concert performance by Thais Sala.
The festival included two masterclasses by Thomas Burkhalter on "Noriental Anthropology" and Faraz Fadaian on "Filming Landscapes and Communities at times of Crisis", four vision talks by Murat Gulyaz, Olivier Jaquat, Sean Kingston, Oana Ivan , various Q&As with Joo Peter, Ignazio Rodriguez, Jacob Gehrmann, Tobias Drilling; Discussions with Katia Diaz and Jinat Hossain, and a round table discussion with Julia Cunha and Noa Kurz around EthnoKino Doc Impact Lab short films, which were made in partnership with the Wyss Academy for Nature at the University of Bern.

The festival was moderated by Eda Elif Tibet and Natalia Peralta. It was audio-visually documented by Senol Sen and Jakob Gehrmann, and photographed by Amber Kanele and Christoph Pieren. Merchandise, hosting and decorations were managed by volunteers Sofie Zollinger, Sofia de Angelis and Eline Arlt.
